Journey into winter – a study visit to Swedish sports organisations 

Thanks to the ERASMUS+ Mobility of staff in the field of sport programme, four of our colleagues visited Sweden on a study visit. In the framework of our MOVEX project, supported by the European Union, our colleagues were hosted by the Riksidrottsförbundet (the Swedish National Sports Confederation) in Stockholm between 12 and 15 February 2024 and they also had the possibility to meet with the Swedish School Sports Federation as well. The visit gave our colleagues an insight into the work of these Swedish organisations, into the Swedish youth, school recreational sports and competition system and the implementation of local good practices. In two schools, they saw and experienced what they had heard how Swedish organisations put them into practice.  

In addition to establishing personal contacts and future cooperation opportunities, the visit also contributed to deepening professional knowledge of HSSF’s colleagues, gather new perspectives and ideas, and strengthen their international professional connections.
