HUNGARIAN SCHOOL SPORT DAY PRESENTED AT THE ANNUAL ISCA CONGRESS

International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA), celebrating its 20th anniversary, organized its annual congress called Move Congress from 5 to 7 November 2015. ISCA also invited Hungarian School Sport Federation to the event held in Copenhagen, Denmark. The purpose of the congress has been to unlock the potential of physical activity research, discover fresh approaches to grassroots sport activities and facilities, build a compelling case for support from a variety of sources, and find out how you can help MOVE the physical activity agenda forward. The speakers presented selected good practices, focusing on all different target groups of the society. Upon ISCA’s invitation, dr. Ákos Füzi (HSSF) introduced the Hungarian School Sport Day project as well as European School Sport Day project, where the latter has been elaborated and launched by HSSF and its consortium partners earlier this year. The congress was attended by more than 250 representatives of 40 countries from all around the world.
