Hungarian-Moroccan Youth and Sport Camp  

Based on the bilateral agreement on the collaboration between the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary and the Ministry of Sport and Youth of the Kingdom Of Morocco in the field of sport and youth signed in October 2014, the Kingdom of Morocco hosted a delegation of 7 pupils and an accompanying teacher in August 2015. On the basis of reciprocity, on 17 August 2016, 8 Moroccan pupils have arrived in Hungary to take part in a two week long youth and sport camp organised by Hungarian School Sport Federation with the financial support of the Hungarian Ministry of Human Capacities.

The aim of the program is to allow youngsters to get to know each other’s culture cultural background through fun and enjoyment during various sport programs. The program contains cultural events, presentations on the traditional sports of Morocco and Hungary, language learning, sport games, and excursions to explore the beauty of Hungary in Győr, Pannonhalma, Agárd, Budapest and at Lake Balaton. During the course of the camp, the pupils will also have the possibility to learn about sport volunteering.
