HSSF SUCCESSFULLY CLOSED ITS PROJECT SUPPORTED BY INTERNATIONAL VISEGRAD FUND

Visegrad

In 2014, International Visegrad Fund selected HSSF’s project named We Move We Share for granting. In the frame of the project, Polish, Slovakian, Czech and Hungarian experts from the 4 programme countries (Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, Czech Republic, the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. Jerzego Kukuczki w Katowicach, Poland, the Zväz maďarských pedagógov na Slovensku, Slovakia, and Hungarian School Sport Federation, Hungary) compared the PE-related regulations of their national core curricula from the aspect of health-enhancing physical activity. The outcome of the research has also been presented at the European Physical Education Association (EUPEA) Forum Meeting between 1-4 October 2015 in Budapest, which was opened by Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for education, culture, youth and sport.

As a result of the cooperation, the participating experts came to the conclusion that the progressively growing level of inactivity within the adult population can be successfully prevented through the implementation of quality physical education. The presentations and workshop summaries are available in English at the following website: https://www.mdsz.hu/en/we-move-we-share/

In November 2015, the implementation period of the project ended, and earlier this year the International Visegrad Fund also approved the project’s professional and financial reports.

Having formed an effective international cooperation through this programme, the partner institutes and the participating experts remain HSSF’s long-term partners also after project closing, and we look forward to the next occasion for professional cooperation with the Visegrad partners.
