EUPEA FORUM MEETING, MILAN, 16–18 OCTOBER

The leading organization of European physical education with more than 30 national members, EUPEA organized its general meeting, the so-called Forum Meeting between 16 and 18 of October in Lombardy’s largest city. Hungarian School Sport Federation, as institutional member of EUPEA, has been represented by dr. László Molnár technical director at the event. At the Forum Meeting, the Board has been renewed and the Charter Document has been amended.

Based on the latter, EUPEA has opened the possibility to institutional members to delegate a representative entitled for voting to the Executive Board of the organization. In practice, this rule enters into force at the time of the following elections, which will take place in Budapest at the Forum Meeting organized in autumn 2015.

However, our representative, dr. László Molnár have been honored by the request of EUPEA President Claude Scheuer to participate in the Board as so-called co-opt member in the meantime, which means in the next one year, he shall represent other institutional members in the Board, excluding the right to vote until the next Forum Meeting. The President’s recommendation has been unanimously accepted by participating Board members

Being a member of EUPEA for only one and a half year, we are glad to report this outstanding success for not only being active member in the organization’s life, but also for being represented in its leading body.

In 2015, the EUPEA Forum Meeting is going to be hosted by Hungarian School Sport Federation in Budapest.
