DR KENNETH H. COOPER IN HUNGARY UPON INVITATION OF HSSF

Dr Cooper took part in an informal press conference in Budapest

The Hungarian School Sport Federation (HSSF) invited to Hungary Dr Kenneth H. Cooper, the founder of the Cooper Institute as well Mr Don Disney, Director of Youth Initiatives at the Cooper Institute. Dr Cooper and Mr Disney, both known worldwide for their professional activity, will hold a speech on children’s education on healthy lifestyle, the causes of child obesity and the measurement system developed jointly by HSSF and the Cooper Institute (National Student Fitness Test, NETFIT®) at the International Conference on Quality Physical Education organized by HSSF.

Dr Cooper, the founder of the eponymous non-profit institute and research centre located in the USA, being 83 years old and having run 38,000 miles is the living example of how regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle can help preserving health in the long term.

The day before the opening of the Conference, on September 16th, 2014 from 2 pm to 4 pm Mr Gábor Balogh, president of HSSF, Dr Kenneth H. Cooper and Mr Don Disney participated in an exclusive, private press conference with the representatives of the Hungarian press.
